Revive Home Exteriors follows a clear, coordinated process designed to help homeowners understand what is happening behind the exterior and what it takes to restore the home the right way.
Instead of treating siding, insulation, windows, sheathing, and weather protection as separate projects, we look at the exterior as one connected system.
That means we can open the exterior, evaluate what is underneath, address what needs attention, and rebuild with stronger materials, better protection, and a clean finished look.
Step 1: Consultation & Exterior Review
We start by learning about your home, your concerns, and what you want to improve.
That may include failing siding, cold rooms, drafts, moisture concerns, outdated windows, or a general feeling that the exterior has reached the end of its life.
From there, Revive reviews the visible exterior and begins building a plan for what your home may need.
Step 2: Scope & Project Planning
Once we understand the home and your goals, we create a clear project scope.
This helps determine which upgrades should be included, how the work should be sequenced, and how the different layers of the exterior system should work together.
Step 3: Open the Exterior
Next, the old siding and exterior materials are removed.
This is where the Revive process becomes different from a basic siding replacement. Once the exterior is open, we can see the condition of the materials underneath and identify issues that may have been hidden for years.
This may include old fiberboard sheathing, soft or damaged materials, poor insulation, air leaks, moisture damage, or areas that need repair before the new system goes on.
Step 4: Repair, Reinforce & Upgrade
After the exterior is open, Revive addresses the layers that need attention.
Depending on the home and project scope, this can include rot repair, sheathing replacement, insulation upgrades, weather barrier installation, window integration, and seismic reinforcement.
These upgrades are completed while the exterior is already accessible, which makes the project more efficient and helps reduce the need to reopen the same areas later.
Step 5: Rebuild the Protective Exterior System
Once repairs and upgrades are complete, we rebuild the exterior system with proper layering and coordination.
That means the sheathing, insulation, weather barrier, flashing, windows, trim, and siding are planned to work together instead of being treated as separate pieces.
This is what helps create better protection behind the finished exterior.
Step 6: Finish the Home
The final step is the visible transformation.
Your home is completed with durable fiber cement siding, trim, paint or finish details, and any approved design upgrades such as stone veneer accents.
